That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.
Prerequisites:
PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent from other certification agency is required.
Age: Please contact us before making a reservation for anyone under the age of 15.
Language: all PADI course materials and exams are available in several languages, allowing you to complete the theory in your preferred language. The practical (in-water) part of the course is usually conducted in English if participants speak different languages. If you are not comfortable communicating in English, please let us know in advance, as instructor availability in other languages varies.
How does the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course work?
Theory
As soon as you make the reservation, you will receive access to the study material and you can continue your journey in the world of scuba diving. In your own time you will be able to go through the theory and answer all the knowledge reviews.
Day 1: Meeting with the instructor at the dive shop at 3.30pm for theory and briefing.
Day 2: Full day in Coiba National Park (7.30 am-4 pm)
Day 3: Full day in Coiba National Park. (7. 30 am-4 pm)
The adventure dives we offer are:
- Deep Adventure Dive
- UnderWater Navigation Adventure Dive
- Fish ID Adventure Dive
- Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive
- Drift Adventure Dive
On one of the two days, we offer you an extra recreational dive for free!
If you´d like, for an additional $185, you can do the Enriched Air Diver Specialty as one of your adventures.
Includes: ebook, all the rental gear, instructor, 5 aventure dives, 1 fun dive, online certification, two lunches.
Excludes $40 park fees (these must be paid in cash upon arrival).
